We need more parties in the U.S.A.

Could there be block parties about which I don’t know?  Maybe they’re in neighborhoods where I don’t go.”

We’ve got another beautiful, warm weekend ahead of us on the High Plains.  (All of this warm, temperate weather is making me feel like I’m still in California, only no mudslides, so it’s a win for us here!)  Maybe I just need a visit from the Ice Cream Man:

Happy Saturday!  (What’s with the Captain Scarlet clips in that video?  Hmnn, nostalgia. . . )

Also, am I a bad person, because I think this is what the internet is for?  I can say with a great deal of certainty that no nineteenth-century presidents were f^(ked in the making of this survey.

  1. It’s very nice to have this timely dollop of fluff to smooth off an, as you say, pretty rough-edged week. It’s getting cold, grayish, and windy, however, in these eastern urban canyonlands. As we stepped out at 6 p.m. last evening and saw bright light on the horizon, I remarked that this is “just like spring, only going backward.” Other than that, no mudslides impending, but another construction crane is going up on the very near-in skyline. Construction noise is kind of like mud, only different. Happy to you too!!
