This looks good, I must say. I also recommend Central Arizona in March. In what other archival place can you make a “trip” and still be on the grounds with the sources? I mean in some places back this way, they make you get a bathroom pass to go thirty steps!
I’m “watching” these pictures above all day today like the legendary WPIX Christmas Day “Yule Log,” in reverse, Historiann! It’s ugly-cold and wet here on the East Coast. Even black-and-white pictures from SoCal in the N.Y. Times are having a (slightly) positive effect, which is pretty cruel, when you think about it. I may troll the blog archive to see what else there is that might raise the temperature, if only by a degree or two, or dry things out a little bit.
