That’s so cool! The world is a better place when there are wolverines out there. Out there being operative, of course, since a wolverine in the house with me would probably not make things better.

No, indeed. They’re extremely nasty animals (like honey badgers, only much bigger; more like Tasmanian devils? There’s a good reason that they like to go it alone.)

Though I would take the world’s coolest animal hands down over the cheesy remake of a cheezy neo-con persecution fantasy. (then again the original was bad enough to be enjoyable, but still not nearly as cool as a real wolverine)

Historiann, when you put up that first post about the honey badger in the fluff-space back whenever it was, I did a little googling around, and found out that there’s quite a lot of b’litrature out there pitting fans of the badger versus fans of the wolverine as to which one would win out in a scuffle over a downed fawn. I think I’d go with the wolverine, and this has nothing to do with Great Lakes region athletic, agricultural, or other cultural rivalries.
