Is anyone else struck by his resemblance to this guy, back in the day? Weird. I must have Texas on the brain.
Speaking of looks: I am chagrined that Comrade PhysioProf thinks I’m going to be endorsing Republicans just because I said that their presidential and vice-presidential candidates lately are better-looking than Democratic candidates. (I thought that was a pretty uncontroversial thing to say–maybe you secretly agree with me, but you’re shocked to discover just how shallow I am?) For those of you who haven’t followed his move over to Freethought Blogs, here’s his new scene. But, let’s take a poll: do you like the new cartoon image of him in his header over there? I think he can do better, even if he is a Yankees fan.

Let me know how that goes, Matt. I’ve always wanted to try it–but I have to admit that 90% of the time, I *unroll* my pre-made pie crust. (I made a dynamite tart late last summer–but sadly can’t remember where I got the tart crust recipe! I guess I should bake more often or just hang it up entirely. . . )
