I do not understand the point you are trying to make Koshem Bos. That folks who are on 9 month appointments should work for free for the other three months of the year? Of course we work during the summer (sometimes for money, teaching extra sections) and make a host of accommodations for our jobs. Why do you begrudge anybody an unpaid break (and a fleeting one at that)?
